Scripture of the day: "...a man may have great power given him from God." (Mosiah 8:16) I believe God can give me the power to break bondages and be free!
Here's what I've been up to lately...
Eating strawberries--summer is just around the corner! (Notice the dreamcatcher earring I made. I'm obsessed with dreamcatchers!)
Last Sunday henry and I had some time to kill before a baptism we'd been invited to. Henry knew I'd love Brand Park, so that's where we went.
I kicked off my heels since I love going barefoot, and thought it would be fun to take pics of my feet on different surfaces...
Dirt!
Stone!
Grass! My favorite.
Tree!
Then I made flower jewelery while Henry took a nap in my lap. So perfect...
It was a perfect way to spend a Sabbath Day afternoon!
Lanterns with my friend Liz
Fabric scrap garland. (I started this one a while back, but my sewing machine busted. I prayed the other day that I would be able to fix it since we really just don't have extra money to buy a new one. Well, I aimlessly messed with it a bit, decided to put the pieces back together even though I'd tried this many times, and walah! It worked! Thanks again God.)
All in all, I'm still just pluggin' along trying to break free of my bondages and enjoy life. Each day I'm trying to become better and more the woman Heavenly Father, Henry, and myself want me to become. I don't think I've ever exerted so much mental energy as I have the past couple weeks trying to force out discouraging thoughts and be proactive about creating the life I imagine. I feel very confident that my efforts are not in vain and that each of us have unimaginable happiness in store for us in this life and the next if we grow closer to God just one day at a time.
Also... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM! You are truly one of my best friends, and I love you and thank you!
